Cédric Girerd received an Engineering degree in Mechatronics from SIGMA Clermont and a Master of Science in Robotics from University Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand, France, both in 2014. He also received a Ph.D. degree in Robotics from the University of Strasbourg, France, in 2018. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the FEMTO-ST Institute in France for one year and at UCSD for three years. Since February 2022, he is a full-time CNRS Researcher in France, and a Visiting Scholar at UCSD. His research focuses on the design and control of continuum and soft robots.  Personal Website
